Brides Rely on Boot Camp Workouts for Stress Relief and Dress Relief

We hear from a lot of brides that the stress relief bridal bootcamp workouts provide is critical to their mental health during an extremely stressful time. Exercise and goal-setting help relieve pre-wedding anxiety by knowing you feel your best, look your best and that you are strong, empowered and healthy. Wow, what a great way to start off a marriage! Today, I want to provide brides a few tips on how bridal bootcamp helps you handle the stress of the wedding dress, wedding planning, and finally, the grand event itself.

How does bootcamp help?

Wedding dress de-stress
. Most brides order their wedding dress 6-9 months prior to their weddings and have fittings 2-3 months prior to their wedding. Bridal bootcamp can help you set goals, stick to your goals, and also provide you a supportive group of brides who understand how you feel. Additionally, workouts are structured to work the areas of the body most wedding dresses highlight – like shoulders, arms, and back.

Wedding talk and I mean non-stop. Where else can you go and talk about your wedding and wedding planning woes without someone changing the subject, rolling their eyes (and thinking Not The Wedding AGAIN!), or just plain changing the subject? At Bridal bootcamp everyone loves to hear everything about your wedding, all the time!

Stress release Had a bad wedding-planning day? That’s the most important day to come to bridal bootcamp. There is probably someone in the class who has experienced the issue you are facing and can lend some advice, or at least an ear of understanding. By the time you are through the workout, you will feel better, less stressed and you will have channeled the stress of your day in the right place. We have had some hilarious melt-downs in our class and every single time the bride was more than glad she made it to class in spite of her horrific day.

Money stress chopper Many of the conversations in bridal bootcamp revolve around how to lower the cost of certain aspects of the wedding. Brides in bootcamp share their vendor “finds”, ideas, and creative solutions to some of the items that end up driving brides crazy. On one occasions, two brides shared center pieces (cutting the costs in half).

Week-of stress By the week of the wedding, most of the planning decisions are made and it’s time for brides to enjoy the fruits of their efforts. As family and friends roll into town and the wheels of the actual event set into motion, many brides take their workouts out of the schedule. This is certainly understandable, but many brides opt to keep bridal bootcamp in their schedule for that week leading up to the wedding, just to make sure the stress of that week is as low as possible. It’s always fun to see the radiant bride a few days before her wedding still doing squats, pushups and biceps curls.

Bridal bootcamp is a very special program that provides a different experience than any other workout, wedding event or bridal “party” than any other.
